Traver Tap Scholarship Fund
Traver Hecht-Felella passed away on August 31, 2013 at the age of 19. As a young child he always heard music through his feet. Even before being formally trained, Traver dreamed of joining the great tap dancers he watched in old movies. His love of performing and the arts helped define who he was and provided Traver with a way to share and inspire others.
This love of tap dance brought him to the Children and Teen program at Broadway Dance Center. Although with Traver’s passing the world is a bit quieter, we are hoping to keep his memory and his passion alive. The Hecht-Felella family is establishing a scholarship in Traver’s name for an aspiring young tap dancer at BDC.
Please donate to the Traver Tap Scholarship Fund to create and sustain this scholarship.
Donations may be made online or by check, payable to Broadway Dance Center and include in the memo "Traver Tap Scholarship Fund."
