Shyrelle Kalilikane was born and raised on the beautiful island of Mililani, Hawaii. There she trained extensively in ballet, jazz, theater, modern, hula, and later branched out into hip-hop and latin. At age 17, she moved to NYC to pursue her passion for the arts, and has been there ever since. Shyrelle has had the opportunity to choreograph for numerous live performances for Sephora, Givenchy, Guerlain Paris, and The Body Shop as well as Janet Jackson’s “Discipline” album release party at the Virgin Megastore in NYC. She has worked with various artists such as Diddy Dirty Money, Madonna, Estelle, John Legend, Nas, Jim Jones, DJ Webstar, Ron Browz, Jadyn Maria, Flo Rida, Ne-Yo, Lady Sovereign, Telihana, CeCe, Salomes, DiSanto, Tina Brown, and Hilary Duff. She has been seen on "SNL", "The View," "Trading Lives", "The Electric Company," "WB11 Morning News," and "NY1", along with numerous ads for KD Dance, Dance Spirit, Cellfish Media, Office Max, Glamour Magazine, XBOX, DEX NY, and The PULSE On Tour. She has also been nominated for the Capezio A.C.E. Awards of 2009 and the Young Choreographer’s Festival of 2010. She has showcased her works most recently at Carnival NYC, Sirens After Dark, Sybarite, Dancinfused, and LICK.
