Lindsay Nelko has established herself as a choreographer and creative genius whose conceptual vision and execution has moved audiences around the world. Unique, diverse and theatrical, her work stands out as high impact and extremely powerful. Lindsay has had the honor and privilege to be mentored by one of the industry's leading Directors/Choreographers, Brian Friedman. With his support and guidance Lindsay's work has become varied and always inspiring. He has said, "She has an insane gift."
Most recently, Lindsay has appeared on FOX's hit show THE X FACTOR as an associate choreographer to Tessandra Chavez, Tucker Barkley and Creative Director Brian Friedman. She was the assistant choreographer on the NBC TV movie American Girl: Alberta, based on the 2013 American Girl Doll of the year.
Lindsay's choreography has played a critical role in The PULSE On Tour conventions throughout North America. They invited her to show her choreography to their attendees as an example of top professional choreography and of what the dancers should aspire to. From 2010-2012, she won four "Choreographer's Pick" awards by The PULSE's all-star panel of judges, more than any other choreographer in the past few years. In July 2012, she won the 2012-2013 "Pulse Featured Choreographer of the Year" award at their New York City Finale.
Lindsay is a young, fresh talent with an amazingly natural ability to create breath-taking dance pieces; there is no doubt that she is one of the hottest up and coming choreographers.
