Carlos Neto started performing at a young age. In 1998 he was part of a primetime TV series in Portugal, his home country, and had several appearances in the film industry. Looking to achieve a dance qualification he moved to the UK in 2004. During this time Carlos pursued a BA and Masters Degree in International Journalism at Cardiff University.
Since 2004, Carlos has focused his training on Hip-Hop, Locking and House Dance in America, the UK and Scandinavia learning from choreographers from all over the globe.
After moving to London in 2009, it didn’t take long for Carlos to start making a name for him self in the choreography industry. He has choreographed for Warner Brothers, George Sampson, winner of Season 2 of Britain's Got Talent, Goldie Looking Chain, Trevor Nelson, Russian celebrity Sergey Lazarev, the Broadway and London productions of Circolombia, The Fringe in NY, Ivyrise, ITV’s Got To Dance and adverts for brands such as Samsung and L’Oreal. This helped make him one of the biggest up-and-coming choreographers in the UK.
As a dancer, Carlos was one of the performers in the first cast of the Dutch show BLAZE that toured around the world. He was also cast in the role of ‘Sudsy’ in the recent Zoonation West End hit show Some Like It Hip Hop. Carlos was also one of the dancers chosen to perform motion capture for John Travolta’s character in the Nintendo video game ‘Grease’ and also PS3 Sony Dance Star Party. To add to that Carlos also danced for London-based companies such as Avant Garde, Dance 2xs and Sophistafunk. He has taught around the world, from New York to Russia and extensively in Europe. This includes guest faculty at Broadway Dance Center in NYC and a regular teacher at renown London Pineapple Dance Studios. Carlos was also the Creative Director for the World Of Dance UK in 2011, one of the biggest dance competitions in the world.
Currently, Carlos is working between New York City and London both as a choreographer and actor.
