Her contemporary dance company, Kristin Sudeikis Dance Company, performed at The Brooklyn Dance Festival and as guest artists at The Young Choreographer's Festival. They will be performing with The Dumbo Dance Festival this September. Whether on stage, on set, or in the studio, her driving focus is to allow others to experience the palpable energy that is created when music, time, space and the other connect.
Kristin was a choreographer and dancer for the Emmy award winning NBC hit show 30 Rock. Sudeikis choreographed and produced STAND, 2011 & 2012. Kristin Sudeikis Dance Company STANDs with GEMS Organization as well as the Half the Sky Movement through their sold out dance concerts, Live music & spoken word. Proceeds benefit the human trafficking epidemic. Before that, Sudeikis created The Light Remains: Exploring the Idea of Possibility. This original dance production was conceived, choreographed and produced by Kristin and is in the process of going on its first National Tour.
Sudeikis's emphasis on creating pure and intense movement tends to strike an emotional chord with those she works with. An indefatigable study of the human body, both inside and out, is brought into her classes, performances and most notably her choreography. “Dance is a gift. Study hard and take care of it. Never cease to strive for the artist you want to become.”
