James Tabeek is currently performing in the Broadway company of Mary Poppins. His other Broadway credits include Taboo, in which he was also the dance captain, Beauty & The Beast, where he played the Carpet and understudied the role of Lefou, the 1st National Tour of Wicked, also as the dance captain, and the Broadway workshop of Sweet Charity, in which he was a featured dancer.

His other NYC credits include Babes In Arms at City Center/Encores, the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall, where he was also a featured dancer, and Idaho at NYMF where he played the role of Manny Meany.

He has also performed in reputable regional theaters all over the country, including the Kennedy Center, Walnut Street, North Shore Music Theater, and the Goodspeed Opera House.  His European credits include playing the role of Riff in West Side Story.

James is also a sought after teacher and choreographer at studios throughout the United States where his students and choreography continue to be recognized nationally at major competitions and conventions. His teaching philosophy is to provide an artistically supportive and open environment in which students are encouraged to develop and express their own unique point of view emotionally and stylistically.
