He taught Jazz and Musical Theater for three years at JAZZDANCE in Colombia and trained entertainers in dance and performance as an Artistic Director for Hard Rock Studios.
Jorge moved to NYC to train at the world-renowned Broadway Dance Center and currently works as a Dance and Yoga Instructor for NYSC in NYC. He is also a dedicated Yogi, beginning his Yoga journey over 20 years ago. He is a Yoga Alliance Certified RYT 200 Vinyasa Yoga Teacher and currently assists Amber Paul in her Yoga classes.
Jorge is a Co-Founder of Comic Strip, a collective of unique dance & fitness classes, workshops, and events focused on roleplay and creativity. Drawing from his theater background, he encourages his class to adopt different characters and let go of their inhibitions. The result is a fun and uninhibited experience encouraging students to let their body move and free their mind.
He believes dance is a lifesaver and has a simple philosophy: “never stop moving."
