Lee Wilkins is the associate choreographer of the Broadway production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, and is currently the associate choreographer of First Date which will open on Broadway in August 2013.

Lee was also the associate choreographer of
Company starring Neil Patrick Harris at Avery Fisher Hall, as well as Sondheim: the Birthday Concert at Avery Fisher Hall, and on PBS. Last year he was lucky to work with Maestro Gustavo Dudamel at the Los Angeles Philharmonic for their gala performance of On the Town, as well as directing Broadway Bares: Happy Endings, and the 2XIST fashion show in New York. Most recently he was the associate choreographer of the NBC pilot The Hatfields and McCoys directed by Michael Mayer.

Lee was a performer in the Broadway productions of
Elf (original cast), SPAMalot, Wonderful Town, and Kiss Me, Kate, as well as the national tours of Cats, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Kiss Me, Kate, and Guys and Dolls.

Lee’s background as a dance captain, an associate choreographer, a director and a performer allow for a varied view and experience in theater and dance. He has worked with a varied group of masters in theater including Kathleen Marshall, Rob Marshall, Casey Nicholaw, Michael Blakemore, Michael Mayer, Rob Ashford, Lonny Price, Mike Nichols, Des McAnuff , Wayne Cilento, and countless celebrities. Lee got his training in Musical Theater at Point Park University, has taught classes across the country and internationally, and has been a professional in theater for over 25 years.
