Teacher Bio

Parker Esse (he/him) followed his passion to the other side of the creative table as director/choreographer after performing on Broadway, in national tours, and regionally. He is a multiple Helen Hayes and CT Critics Circle nominee, and the 2010 Helen Hayes Winner for Best Choreography for Arena Stage’s Oklahoma!

Class Descriptions

THEATER

Class will focus on technique, musicality, confidence, and being a dynamic storyteller through dance. Starting with an upbeat, core building warm up, class will progress with across the floor exercises including jumps and turns. The variety of choreography taught each week will give students a chance to strengthen audition performance and re-enforce the skills they need to be successful as a musical theatre performer. The positive, supportive, ask any questions you want environment will foster students’ greatest potential.
