Choong Hoon Lee

Born in Seoul, South Korea, Choong Hoon Lee began Training at the Korean National University Of Arts and received a scholarship from the School Of American Ballet in New York while at the school. In 2004, Semi Finalist at the Varna Competition and received the Gold Award in Pas de deux of the Gwanju International Competition in 2005. Spent a year as trainee at the Mariinsky Ballet in Russia and was a soloist with the Korean National Ballet, dancing in works such as Donquixote, Swan Lake, Giselle, Nutcracker, Spartacus, Paquita, Santanila, Le Corsaire, Tchaikovsky Pas de deux, Cinderella.

Soon after finishing the season with the Korean National Ballet then joined Complexions Contemporary Ballet and worked with Dance Theatre Of Harlem 2015 to 2021. Repertoire works by Christopher Wheeldon, Standon Welch, Ulysses Dove, Nacho Duato, Francesca Harper, Jean Christophe Maillot, Yuri Grigorovich, Anthony Tudor, Dwight Rhoden, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Darrell Moultrie, Robert Garland. Certified in Vaganova method Level 1 through Level 8 from Korean National University Of Arts professor Sun Hee Kim.
