Aurelia Michael was born and raised in the Bronx, New York, where she began her artistic training at the Dance Theatre of Harlem. She continued studying dance throughout college, earning Dance and Business Management degrees from the University of Maryland, College Park, as well as attending the Fashion Institute of Technology for a Certification in Image Consulting. Aurelia Michael was born and raised in the Bronx, New York, where she began her artistic training at the Dance Theatre of Harlem. She continued studying dance throughout college, earning Dance and Business Management degrees from the University of Maryland, College Park, as well as attending the Fashion Institute of Technology for a Certification in Image Consulting. In 2018, Aurelia a ventured into the world of Musical Theatre, and her credits now include Legally Blonde, Grease, Ghost, In The Heights, and the Original Broadway Cast of SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical. Most recently, she was the Associate Choreographer Ensemble member of A Wonderful World, a world-premiere musical about jazz legend and singular American icon Louis Armstrong. Since 2011, Aurelia has been the Founder and Lead Coach for Aurelia Michael Living, a community team dedicated to helping future clients in the areas of Life & Career Success, Healing Shame, Performance & Communication, and Acting . In 2020, Aurelia took her passion for Voiceover as an Artist - signing with Atlas Talent Agency - and created Voice On Demand, a community dedicated to connecting, supporting, & uplifting BIPOC voice over artists & the entire VO community. Aurelia loves to help people of all ages pursue their dreams and accomplish their goals. Aurelia currently resides in the Los Angeles area with her husband and puppy, where she is also focused on her career in TV& Film, Theatre, and Voice Over.

Theater

This is not your typical Musical Theatre class. We combine MT elements, social dance, individual expression, and helping you see those around you as inspiration instead of competition. You'll learn choreography from current show rep, as well as be able to ask the industry questions from the roles of Ensemble to Director, as we have covered the entire spectrum. If you have been looking for mentorship and support, while being stretched and challenged, you've come to the right class.
