Class Descriptions

Adv Theater Triple Threat

The main objective of this class is the integration and practical application of singing, acting, and movement techniques to various styles of traditional and contemporary musical theater pieces.

The class is segmented in three sections: First, students receive individual sheet music , and, with the help of an accompanist, learn the appropriate melodies, harmonies, dynamics, and character associations to a specific section of a song. Second, students are lead through a physical warm-up, with an emphasis on classic Jazz/yoga bases series. Third, students learn original choreography in connection with the previously learned song, and gradually blend the vocal with the movement, resulting in a true triple-disciplinary experience!
