Jeffry Amado Hiraldo is a distinguished professional dancer, choreographer, and instructor based in New York City, originally from the Dominican Republic. His journey into dance began at a young age, sparked by his admiration for the groundbreaking performances of the Jabbawockeez on America’s Best Dance Crew. Captivated by their style, Jeffry immersed himself in learning their choreography, practicing with friends, and eventually joining the Street Dance Crew. This early dedication allowed him to perform on television, compete in dance battles, and participate in musicals, quickly establishing himself as a versatile and dynamic performer.
In 2012, Jeffry moved to New York City to further pursue his dance career, training at the renowned Broadway Dance Center and joining the Urban Dance League. His formal education culminated in a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Lehman College, where he refined his technique and studied under some of the most influential choreographers in the industry.
Throughout his career, Jeffry has performed across both New York and Latin America, earning credits in commercials, television shows, and live performances. Notable highlights include dancing for Camp Rock the Musical, Samsung commercials, and major events such as the Super Bowl Commercial TV, SoulFrito Urban Latin Music Fest, and 106 & Park. He has also worked with top-tier artists including Pitbull, El Alfa, J Balvin, Becky G, Nicky Jam, and many others.
As a choreographer, Jeffry has developed original routines for a wide range of projects, from high-energy music videos to large-scale live performances. His choreography has been featured in renowned events like the Dominican and Puerto Rican Parades in New York City, Escucha mi Sueños: The Musical, and the U.S. Open. Additionally, Jeffry choreographed El Alfa’s World Tour and the SoulFrito Urban Latin Music Fest, solidifying his reputation as a leading creative force in the industry. His work continues to shape the Urban Latin dance scene.
Dedicated to sharing his expertise, Jeffry teaches regularly in New York City and has led workshops internationally, including in the Dominican Republic, Canada, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Panama, and Costa Rica.
