Tony Testa

Tony Testa started dancing at eight years old, studying Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Breaking, and Hip-Hop in his hometown of Fort Collins, CO. From an early age he assisted the classes that his mom would teach, and soon enough he had unveiled a passion for choreography.

Since moving to LA in 2005, Tony has choreographed for Janet Jackson, Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, Nicki Minaj, Versace, Skechers, Toyota, SYTYCD, Disney, Nickelode  on, and with Michael Jackson on his final project, This Is It.

In addition to choreography, Tony's career as a Creative Director has taken off. One Direction for Saturday Night Live and Season One of The Voice UK were his most recently directed pieces. He was the Associate Director for Kylie Minogue's Aphrodite: Les Folies World Tour, he Co-Directed the opening of the 2011 American Music Awards with Nicki Minaj and David Guetta, and recently flew back from South Korea after writing and directing a world tour for Kpop group EXO.

Aside from the pop industry, Tony is now exploring activism and social awareness through his work. His installation at the LACMA Museum and speeches for CSU and TEDx were both for the sole purpose of raising awareness about the effects of over-fishing.
