Pamela Sousa

Pamela Sousa was a player in the original Bob Fosse production of Pippin. She is pleased to pass on her knowledge of Fosse’s incredible choreography. Even after over 40 years the nuances and intent are still very clear to her. Highlights of Ms. Sousa’s performing career include Pippin, Chicago (1975), Can Can, A Chorus Line, The Loves of Anatol, and Stepping Out.

Additionally, Pamela worked for eight years as stage director/choreographer for the Lyrics and Lyricists Series at the 92nd St. Y in New York City.  Her work has been presented on Broadway with her choreography for the Tony-nominated musical A Grand Night for Singing, the Tony-nominated musical Romance, Romance, and the Off-Broadway hit Olympus on My Mind for which she received rave notices. In Regional theatre, Pamela choreographed the Tom Stoppard comedy, Rough Crossing at the McCarter Theatre and Stepping Out at Syracuse Stage. She also worked alongside Jon Jory at The Actors Theatre of Louisville choreographing The Wizard of Oz and Peter Pan. Pamela especially enjoyed working with director Sidney Pollack on the film, Sabrina.
