April Cook received a BA in both Journalism and Psychology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During her years there, she earned varsity letters for crew and fencing. She was also an active member of the UNC dance organizations Opeyo! and Carolina Style. She later went on to study tap dance with Gene Medler at Duke University.
April joined the staff of Broadway Dance Center in 2002, and is currently the Director of Public Relations as well as a full-time member of BDC’s tap faculty. Check out April's teaching bio and class schedule!
