Master ballet teacher Dawn Hillen's expert, gentle, and fun approach to training dancers of all levels and ages makes her classes unique in ballet today. With her appealing imagery, understanding of how to overcome technical difficulties, and flowing combinations at the barre and centre, Ms. Hillen offers a class that appeals to both the serious student and to novice dancers. Her supportive approach is rooted in her own experience watching her mother study ballet. "My mother and I became ballet dancers together!

A native Israeli and BDC teacher since 1993, Dorit Koppel first studied and performed with internationally renowned Bat-Dor and Bat-Sheva companies of Israel. She received a MFA in Dance from NYU Graduate School of the Performing Arts, after completing a BA in Dance at Sarah Lawrence College. Dorit was the Artistic Director and owner of Progressive Dance Studio in Englewood, NJ, where she developed a ballet training program for children, teens and adults.

Greg Zane has had a career in the performing arts as a dancer, actor, director, choreographer, and teacher. His directorial and choreographic credits include productions at regional theaters and international theatre companies. In 2014, Greg started a relationship with Lincoln Center Theater’s Broadway revival of The King and I as Associate Choreographer to Tony Award winning choreographer Christopher Gattelli and director Bartlett Sher.

Jessica Epting

Jessica Epting (she/her) received her classical ballet training on full scholarship at the Omaha Academy of Ballet under the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) training methods. 

Richard Bowman began his training in New Zealand, and at sixteen he received a full scholarship to further his training at the Royal Ballet School in London. 

Mr. Bowman has danced both as a soloist and principal with internationally acclaimed ballet companies including the Vienna State Opera, Royal New Zealand Ballet, Leipzig Ballet and Australian Ballet. Throughout his career, he danced many leading roles, from the “Gaoler” in Kenneth MacMillan’s production of Manon, to “James” in Erik Bruhn’s production of La Sylphide

Jamie Salmon received her professional ballet training as a youth with Dana Kennedy, Melissa Hayden and Paul Meija. She attended the North Carolina School of the Arts for Jr. high and high school. Further training was received at the School of American Ballet and the Joffrey Ballet school, where she became a member of the Joffrey Concert Group performing lead roles in classics and new works.Jamie has also worked with Kirk Peterson and Louis Falco as well as dancing in commercials, tv, film and print work.
