Born in Nagoya, Japan, Chio moved to New York in 1998 to study at the world-renowned Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.

Jeff Selby of NYC is the creator of New Style Hustle. Based on the original partner dance of the 1970's, the hustle, New Style Hustle allows freedom and variation of footwork and style as well as rhythm changes connecting with todays music and generation. 

Mishay Petronelli

Mishay Petronelli is an accomplished dancer, teacher, choreographer, director, movement coach, model, and actor based in New York City and Los Angeles. Mishay has danced for a wide variety of artists including Jonte’, Janes Addiction, Kanye West, Miley Cyrus, Icona Pop, Jennifer Hudson, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, Mackelmore, Will Smith, Janelle Monáe, Hailee Steinfeld, FKA Twigs, Kylie Minogue, Demi Lovato, Beyoncé, Janet Jackson and in music videos for Whitney Houston, Nikki Williams, Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé, Madonna, and Janet Jackson. 

Curtis "TRIX" Pearson is a very talented performer/Dance Choreographer with over 11 years of dance experience and nine years of teaching experience. He is a former dance member of Round 1.

Jon Rua

The recipient of the 2022 SDCF Breakout Award, Jon Rua is recognized as a 'rising star' creative director & choreographer for his innovative work on stage. He has helmed Phish’s ‘Send in the Clones’ performance at the sold-out Madison Square Garden, the world premier of The Untitled Unauthorized Hunter S. Thompson Musical at La Jolla Playhouse, an associate choreographer of BOOP!

Galen Hooks is an LA native who has been in the entertainment industry for two decades. Her versatility and experience have rendered her one of the most respected and sought after performers in the business. With a unique artistic approach to dance and choreography, she has created a style that is instantly recognizable and entirely individual. 

Jaffar Smith is originally from Washington State. He started dancing at a young age, studying Tap, Jazz, and Gymnastics. After high school, he moved to Las Vegas and began his hip-hop training with Culture Shock Las Vegas under the direction of Tabitha and Napoleon Dumo. After leaving Las Vegas, he moved to San Diego where he contributed to the success of Urban FX.

Sisco Gomez was born in London and is of Afro-Colombian heritage. 

Sisco started his training at Westminster Dance Scene where he studied Musical Theatre, Jazz, Modern and Tap. He also went to the Saturday school at Sylvia Young Theatre School, and Pineapple Performing Arts School. At 16 he joined the Hip-Hop company Culture Shock. He then studied Jazz- Funk and Hip-Hop in LA and New York, and also in a variety of European countries. 

Dean Lee

At the age of 17, Dean Lee began training professionally in central London, on scholarship at the prestigious Urdang Academy. He focused on becoming a versatile and well rounded dancer, studying Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Commercial, Hip-Hop, and Musical Theater.

Neil Schwartz

Neil “80s Baby” Schwartz has been dancing since the age of seven. After graduating from the University of Maryland and moving to NYC, he has had the privilege to work with Rhapsody James, Luam, Lisette, Chonique, Eric Jenkins, and more. He has choreographed for artists such as ASTR, Bosco, Wynter Gordon, Rome Fortune, Mateo, PUSH PLAY, TT the Artist, Oyinda, RIVRS, and more.
