All of Germaine’s classes include a strong technique base. She does a warm-up, which focuses on strong and musical sounds, as well as ease of motion. At the Basic and Beginner levels she teaches all the basics, including Time steps, wings and pullbacks. Each class includes some straight rhythm work, as well as moving in space and a combination. Combinations cover a variety of styles, from Broadway to improvisation. The goal of all the classes is for the student to gain the ability to be able to work within a wide range of choreographic styles.
