DROP-IN CLASSES
Broadway Dance Center’s extensive drop-in class schedule offers more than 50 classes daily in a variety of times, levels and disciplines. Group dancers receive discounted class rates and early registration access to our drop-in schedule.
Please review our Class Schedule and Level & Experience Guide to learn more! If you need further assistance with our schedule, we are happy to discuss which classes and teachers are right for your students.
We recommend all Groups register at least one month in advance to guarantee spots in our popular classes and access to discounted class rates. All Groups must register at least 48 hours in advance.
AGE REQUIREMENT
Our drop-in classes are for students ages 13 and up. There are a handful of teachers in each discipline that may accommodate students between the ages of 10 and 12, provided that they receive advance notice. If you have dancers under the age of 10, you can check out our Private Class option, which is perfect for dancers of all ages!
During summer months, we also offer Summer Session, drop-in classes for dancers ages 8-18 at our Children and Teen location.

- One payment from Group Leader (no individual dancer payments)

- Minimum of 20 classes as a group

PAYMENT
Group Services accepts credit/debit cards (Master Card/Visa, AmEx, Discover), and wire transfers. No cash payments or personal checks. Payment must be made 30 days prior to the scheduled date of arrival.
REFUNDS
All refunds for group drop-in classes are subject to an administration fee.
GROUP PRIVATE CLASSES
Group Private Classes are a great way to customize a class for your group. Private classes for your group can be in any style and level. Private classes are a great option for groups with younger dancers, larger groups that want to take class together, and groups looking to customize their NYC dance experience.
We recommend booking one month in advance. Bookings made within less than two weeks' notice will be subject to an express booking fee.
Group Private Class Options:
- Dance Style of Your Choice: Take class in the genre of your choice at your Group’s level
- Broadway "Meet-the-Artist" Class: Take class from an accomplished Broadway performer and see firsthand what it is like to perform on Broadway!
Seeing a Broadway show while you are in NYC? Get a chance to learn the choreography from a current or former performer from that show! - Precision Dance Workshop: Precision Jazz and Kickline with the option to add Tap
- Agency Talks: Ask questions and learn from talent agents about what the atmosphere is like dancing in a professional setting. These dance related seminars are great for parents, instructors, and/or students.
- Choreography for Camera*: Learn about camera angles, transitions in and out of frame when dancing in front of the camera and what it is like to dance for the camera in a music video style class. The end of this class will be filmed and you will receive the footage from class as well as an edited final video, which will make a great keepsake!!
*Choreography for Camera is offered at a premium rate and only available for 90-120min classes.
SOUVENIR VIDEO
Take home a memory of your trip to New York City that will last a lifetime! Souvenir videos are a great addition for groups looking to document their visit to BDC.
AGE REQUIREMENT
There are no age requirements for private classes.
PAYMENT
Payment is due in full no later than two weeks before the scheduled class. Group Services accepts credit/debit cards (Master Card/Visa, AmEx, Discover), and wire transfers. No cash payments or personal checks.
REFUNDS
Your group will be reimbursed the full amount of the Private Class if you cancel a reservation up until 15 days prior to your arrival. If your group cancels between 1-14 days prior to your scheduled class date, you are subject to a cancellation fee per Private Class. Cancellation fees are based on the duration, and number of dancers per class, and are subject to change at any time.
Souvenir Videos can be refunded with a 7 day notice prior to the group's visit; after 7 days they will be eligible for a partial refund only.
