Katharine Pettit (they/them) is a NYC based Director/Choreographer who served as Susan Stroman's SDC (Stage Directors and Choreographers) Observer on Bullets Over Broadway on Broadway. Their dance company, KPC- Keeping People Connected, is a multidisciplinary collective of performing artists who tell stories examining social injustices and stigmatized subject matter through dance, music, and conversation. Class Descriptions
Katharine’s teaching style is all student-driven. Every class starts with the basics, honing technique, then moving across-the-floor to build more advanced rhythms which will require endurance and strength. Every student will receive one-on-one corrections and advice to push to the level of their desire! We’ll wrap up with a combination that utilizes and expands on what we worked on in class that day. Everyone can tap!
