Geheny Rivera Children & Teens Bio

Geheny Rivera (she/her) has been teaching various styles of dance to children and teens at the recreational and competitive level for almost 10 years. A New Jersey native, she graduated from Montclair State University, where she recieved her B.A. in Psychology with a specialization in Child Advocacy. Upon graduating, she completed the Broadway Dance Center Training Program and has been assisting the Children and Teen Program since 2013.

Geheny has trained with choreographers such as Eric Campros, Luam Keflezgy, Jessica Castro, and most recently completed a 3 month mentorship with Dana Foglia Dance Company in Los Angeles. In the classroom, she encourages her students to be versatile, well-rounded dancers. Her students are pushed to the best of their ability in a safe, fun environment.

Geheny is looking forward to starting another great season with the Children and​​ Teen Program at Broadway Dance Center.
