EMMY Award winning and TONY nominated Broadway Choreographer, AC Ciulla has been an innovative force in the entertainment industry.
AC choreographed Billy Porter’s video Children and collaborated with Mr. Porter on The Life musical for Encores. AC was nominated for the TONY for the musical Footloose and won the FANY 'People's Choice Award' that season for Best Choreography. Off-Broadway, Lucky Guy - Joe A. Mr. Ciulla choreographed the original production of The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin - Lucille Lortel and Audelco Award nominations.
Regional Theater: Steven Sondheim’s revue Being Alive created by Billy Porter, The Little Mermaid North Shore Music Theater, Big River Sacramento Music Circus and Vices: A Love Story, a sophisticated exploration of relationships through music and dance, garnered AC the 2010 Carbonell Award.
Ciulla choreographed Toni Braxton-Revealed for her Las Vegas reesidency as well as her celebrated 2006 LIBRA Tour and live 2007 NBA All-Star performance. Ciulla choreographed SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED - A Musical Celebration of Stevie Wonder for the Venetian in Las Vegas featuring Chaka Khan, created by Billy Porter. AC created, directed and choreographed the Broadway musical revue Nights On Broadway II & III for Caesar’s in Atlantic City.
Ciulla won the 2003 EMMY Award for his innovative work with Olympic figure skating champions for Stars On Ice. AC appeared as a recurring guest choreographer on So You Think You Can Dance UA where he was named the king of contemporary dance!
He also choreographed Miss America 2017 Savvy Shield's winning dance solo. Commercials: 1-800-OK-CABLE, INTEL, Dr. Pepper, AT & T, NY Lottery, Verizon Droid, and E*TRADE.
AC made a special guest appearance on Dance Moms and was an original faculty member of NYCDA. As a performer, AC made is Broadway debut at 19 in STARLIGHT EXPRESS. He was an eight time winner and semi-finalist on Star Search as "Meghan & AC," He was also a featured soloist with the world renowned Jazz Dance Company WAVES and had the honor of dancing along side of Michael Jackson.
