Bettye Morrow began performing at nine years of age in USO shows, and continued with extensive performing credits on Broadway, at Radio City Music Hall, in film and New York City night clubs.
Bettye has worked with noted choreographers Hanya Holm, Eugene Loring, and Robert Alton to name a few. She has worked with film great Gene Kelly and has danced and performed with Sammy Davis, Jr. before becoming a protege of "Bubba" Gains, famed Copacetics member.

Bettye has worked with noted choreographers Hanya Holm, Eugene Loring, and Robert Alton to name a few. She has worked with film great Gene Kelly and has danced and performed with Sammy Davis, Jr. before becoming a protege of "Bubba" Gains, famed Copacetics member.
Other performing credits include engagements at the Barabican, England's Lincoln Center, in London. Plus, Bettye has sustained an iternational career as a choreographer with works seen in the US, England, and Japan.
Bettye was honored in a tribute to her presented by noted tap club Swing 46, NYC, and she was also the first tap dancer since 1938 to be featured at Mana Leone's in Broadway Nights, an honor previously held by "Bubba" Gaines.
Bettye was on the faculty Broadway Dance Center in Manhattan for over 25 years, as well as New Dance Group.
