Eric Anthony Johnson
Originally from Essexville, MI, Eric Anthony Johnson has performed, taught, and choreographed all over the world. Eric attended the Boston Conservatory and earned a BFA in Musical Theatre.
After graduation, he moved to NYC and within a month, he was cast in the 1st National Tour of the 2009 revival of WEST SIDE STORY. Eric was in the original Broadway production of BEETLEJUICE the musical and is currently a Swing and Dance Captain of BEETLEJUICE at the Marquis Theater. Other credits include the touring productions of Evita (1st national), Elf (1st National), R+H’s Cinderella (1st national), and Miss Saigon. He has performed at dozens of regional theaters including The American Repertory Theater, The National Theatre in D.C. (BEETLEJUICE pre-broadway engagement), Kansas City Starlight, Sacramento Music Circus, The Kennedy Center, Lone Tree Arts Center, and Northern Stage. Eric’s television credits include: HBO’s The Gilded Age, Last Week Tonight with John Olive, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and The 2019 Tony Awards.
As a choreographer and teacher, Eric has taught at Broadway Dance Center, The Boston Conservatory, The Berklee College of music, ArtsBridge, the Musical Theatre Dance Intensive at Boston Conservatory, Camp Broadway at the Cleveland Playhouse, The Growing Studio, The A1 conference, Broadway Workshop, Broadway Classroom. @ericanthonyjohnson www.ericanthonyj.com
