Danelle Morgan, a Highland Park, New Jersey native, is the Assistant Choreographer and Dance Caption for the Christmas Spectacular starring the Radio City Rockettes . She has performed as a Rockette for over 16 years in the Christmas Spectacular and other productions including the New York Spring Spectacular, choreographed by Tony Award winner, Warren Carlyle; and The New York Spectacular, choreographed by Emmy Award winner, Mia Michaels.
She has been the spokesperson for the Rockettes, the face of various print and commercial advertising campaigns, performed with JLo on Saturday Night Live , The Tony Awards , and several television shows including America’s Got Talent, The Today Show and The Wendy Williams Show. Danelle has been featured in Town & Country Magazine, Dance Spirit, and the New York Times Sunday Routine . Danelle has had the honor of reconstructing pieces like “Our Favorite Son” from Will Rogers Follies for American Dance Machine under the direction of Patti D’Beck & Josh Bergasse, as well as “Big Spender” for Sweet Charity in Concert under the direction of Dana Moore.
She played the role of Marguerita/Swing in the 50th anniversary European tour of West Side Story, a Laurence Olivier “Best Musical Revival” Nominee. Additionally, Danelle was an ensemble member in The King & I at Ogunquit Playhouse. She has worked with Buglisi Dance Theatre, 360 Degree Dance Company , has performed at the Fire Island Dance Festival as well as Solstice in Times Square (Dancers Responding to AIDS). Choreographers include Princess Grace Award winner, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Nacho Duato, Desmond Richardson, and Yuriko Kikuchi. Additionally, Danelle is a proud recipient of the 2017 NAACP NJ State Conference Performing Arts Award for achievements in the arts. Danelle is an Honors graduate and Liberace Scholarship recipient of the Ailey School/ Fordham University B.F.A. in Dance program.
