Ginger brings a fresh perspective and creative material to all of her classes. Pulling from her extensive background in dance, Ginger offers a diverse range of stylized combinations accompanied by a broad spectrum of music. Her movement vocabulary is technical, athletic and versatile; iDANZ Critix Corner quotes, “Ginger explores movement in an unpredictable way.”
Ginger promotes individuality and encourages dancers to bring their authentic selves to the work. Mindful dancing with an inquisitive, open mind and creative choice making is practiced throughout the class. Her thorough warm up focuses on alignment, fluid transitions, weight exchange, core stability, balances and building strength on all planes. Discover a new perspective of your dancing in this class!
This class will celebrate all styles of Jazz! Each week Ginger will teach a variety of Jazz styles such as: lyrical, commercial, traditional jazz, props, and 'jazznasty'! Don't be intimidated by the level! Come ready to have fun and learn something different!
This class helps the dancer gain a better understanding of how to develop consistent, clean turns and powerful jumps!
Explore, Create, Connect! This fun class will explore the possibilities within creating partnering work through improvisation and a series of structured exercises designed to break down barriers, build trust, explore weight exchange, contact, floor work, lifts, shapes and negative spaces inside a movement relationship. Come with an open mind ready to explore! All levels welcome. No set choreography required
