Some of Joey's other movie-musical credits include: Burlesque (Astaire Award nomination, Dance Tracks Magazine Award), Dreamgirls (Choreography in Media Honor), Hairspray (Choreography in Media Honor), Rock of Ages, and Lucky Stiff.
In the spring of 2013, Joey choreographed the critically acclaimed Broadway play The Nance starring Nathan Lane which will be broadcast on PBS's Great Performances this fall. Prior to that, on stage, he worked on eleven other Broadway shows (as well as numerous Off-Broadway and Encores productions) as Performer, Dance Captain, Associate Choreographer and/or Choreographer.
On television, Joey has worked on several network series, awards shows, concerts and commercials, and he also recently choreographed Cheyenne Jackson's music video Don't Wanna Know. This summer Joey will be choreographing a new show being performed in Las Vegas which will feature an original score by Jason Robert Brown.
