Lauren Cannon is originally from the Pacific Northwest and trained at DanceWorks Performing Arts. Since moving to New York, she has toured with New York City Dance Alliance assisting some of the industry’s greatest teachers. She has toured Nationally and Internationally with West Side Story, dancing Jerome Robbins iconic choreography. She has spent numerous years performing in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular and will be the Assistant Dance Captain for the 2022 season. She performed with James Corden in the 2016 Tony Awards and then completed a three year run with the National Tour of Wicked.
Lauren made her Broadway debut with the show soon after. On the other side of the table, Lauren was the Associate Choreographer for West Side Story at the John Engeman Theater in New York. And most recently, she was the Assistant Musical Stager & Reconstruction for the Broadway Revival of Bob Fosse's Dancin', working alongside Wayne Cilento and Corinne Herrera.
Beyond her performing career, Lauren is deeply passionate about teaching yoga and bringing more mindfulness into dance spaces. She is a 200hr RYT and is working towards her Children and Teen Certification with a trauma informed focus. You can follow her yoga journey @comehomeyoga on social media platforms.
