Marina Ortega is in her 12th season as the Director of the Boston Celtics Dancers. She is also a co-owner and founder of Pro Action Dance, a company dedicated to providing cutting edge choreography to the sports entertainment industry. Ortega's professional experience includes conducting choreography for elite squads such as the Los Angeles Laker Girls, Los Angeles Clippers Spirit, Indiana Pacemates, Portland Trailblazers, Utah Jazz Dancers, Sacramento Kings, the NFL Pro Bowl Cheerleaders, KC Chiefs, Los Angeles Charger Girls, San Francisco 49er Gold Rush, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and many more. Prior to joining the Boston Celtics, Ortega spent 3 years in Europe as the Dance Team Director for the Frankfurt Galaxy (NFL Europe), of Frankfurt, Germany. When not at games and rehearsals, Ortega spends her time teaching dance classes to alumni, current and aspiring dancers.
