Reed Luplau

Born in Perth, Australia. Reed Luplau started dancing at the age of 18 months at his mothers studio Jody Marshall Dance Company, where he trained in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Acrobatics and Musical Theatre. Before graduating from The Australian Ballet School, Reed was invited by then Artistic Director’s Graeme Murphy & Janet Vernon, to join Sydney Dance Company (SDC).

As a dancer in NYC Reed has performed for Stephen Petronio Company, Aszure Barton & Artists and Lar Lubovitch Dance Company. ​Broadway Credits include Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Natasha, Pierre and The Great Comet of 1812. Fiddler on the Roof, directed by Bartlett Sher and choreographed by Hofesh Schecter. Off-Broadway - David Henry Hwang's Kung Fu, Film credits include the role of Theo in Alan Brown's Five Dances, The Sixth Borough, Mao’s Last Dancer. Other TV credits include FOSSE/VERDON, Mozart In The Jungle, Halston' & ‘Maisel. ​Choreographic credits include: Places, Please(Dir/Chore), Disney Cruise Line, The Lortel Awards, The Australian Ballet, Sydney Dance Company, West Australian Ballet, Brooks Brothers 100th Birthday Celebration, BC BEAT, Can’t Stop A Woman by Bellsaint, Submarine (Asst. to Andy Blankenbuehler). ​​
