Richard Bowman began his training in New Zealand, and at sixteen he received a full scholarship to further his training at the Royal Ballet School in London.
Mr. Bowman has danced both as a soloist and principal with internationally acclaimed ballet companies including the Vienna State Opera, Royal New Zealand Ballet, Leipzig Ballet and Australian Ballet. Richard has been teaching young dancers, adults and professionals for many years. His beginning ballet class is best suited for students with varied dance backgrounds. From those who have a basic knowledge of ballet to those who are quite experienced with the art form. The exercises in the class are based on a progression, teaching the basic movements and terminology then building on that with strength and coordination.
