Ambrose Respicio

Ambrose Respicio III, originally from Guam, is an internationally known choreographer, dancer, and mentor. His style of teaching and fresh take on choreography has made him one to watch and work with. In addition to having his work featured worldwide, he is also a trusted confidant to many choreographers and up and coming prodigies throughout the entertainment industry.

Ambrose serves as a private coach, stylist, and mentor to Camren Bicondova from Fox’s hit show Gotham. He has worked with numerous YouTube sensations such as Sophia Lucia, Lindsey Stirling, Egoraptor, Steve Kardynal, Meghan Camarena, Sam Pepper, and Prank vs. Prank. As a performer, he has graced the stage along side Betty White, Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Carly Rae Jepsen, Nia Sioux, Naya Rivera, Florence Henderson, Allie Willis, Michael Chiklis, and Tom Hanks.

Ambrose teaches across the US, at EDGE Performing Arts Center, Debbie Allen Dance Academy, Academy of Performing Arts San Diego, and Millenium Dance Complex, to name a few.

Ambrose is a 10 year member of Unity Dance Ensemble, under the direction of the EMMY Award Winning Tessandra Chavez. He began assisting Tessandra on projects including Best Thing I Never Had, starring Cryus and Tiffany on So You Think You Can Dance, and was a part of the skeleton crew for the SYTYCD Season 5 Tour Opening number.

In 2012, Ambrose choreographed Reebok’s Executive Fashion Show. Ambrose worked as the Assistant Supervising Choreographer for Season 2 of YouTube’s Dance Showdown and then returned to season 3 as the Supervising Choreographer. He has also choreographed for Strictly Come Dancing (China). He has also worked side by side with Dancing with the Stars Champion Kym Johnson on many projects, including RuPaul’s Drag Race.

You can see Ambrose currently starring as Mr. Las Vegas in a national commercial for the City of Las Vegas. He was recently a featured dancer in Lady Gaga’s Tribute to David Bowie at the 58th Grammys.
