Amy Gardner is the artistic director of annoDAM Dance, and the founder of A CLASS ACT Intensives. Currently based in New York City, Amy collaborates and creates work in a myriad of forms, as a choreographer/movement director, as well as a dancer/actor.

Amy teaches a unique contemporary class, consisting of a thorough physical and mental warm up, improvisation techniques and phrases of movement. Amy Gardner’s choreography is unpredictable and is constantly evolving. Her movement is strongly routed in contemporary dance, however, urban influences are definitely incorporated. Her focus as a teacher is to not only challenge her students with intricate and complex movement, but to bring awareness to the importance of storytelling. She tends to utilize acting techniques in her work as well.
