Dani Champagne is a NYC based performer and dance instructor trained in all styles, specializing in tap dance. She is the Co-Founder and Co-Director of ACM Collective, tap dance company in NYC, and is currently a company member of Demi Remick & Dancers. She has previously been seen touring the east coast with DrumatiX Dance Company and was dance captain for the Boston Tap Company. She has been featured in works across NYC at venues such as Arts On Site, American Tap Dance Foundation, Symphony Space, and Emerging Choreographer Series at LPAC.
Dani grew up in Providence, Rhode Island where she was able to train and work closely with tap artists Dianne Walker and Derick Grant. She also trained with artists such as; Jared Grimes, Donna Rodriguez, Michelle Dorrance, Sarah Reich, and Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards. In addition to instructing classes at Broadway Dance Center, she has assisted faculty members Gwen Potter and Justin Boccitto. Dani is also on the faculty at Common Ground both in NYC & traveling the country instructing their masterclass series. She’s taught at Mark Morris Dance Group as well as dance studios in the Tristate area.
