Sayiga Eugene Peabody is a Stevensville, MI native of Liberian, West African lineage. He began his movement training as a gymnast at age thirteen, and later fell in love with dance while working under Nancy Myers Gitlin, a protegé of Frank Hatchett. Building upon the fundamentals of dance technique, Eugene's class is geared toward full-body access and awareness in movement expression. To expand all range of motion, dynamic detail, and performance quality, an arching array of choreographed excises will guide artists to connect mind, body, and soul for a more instinctual delivery in performance. Dance is life. Let's live freely!
