She was the Associate Choreographer to Jamal Sims for Disney’s Encanto and Encanto: Live at the Hollywood Bowl which is Emmy nominated for best choreography. She has also worked as a movement coach and choreographer for Grammy award winning artists Anderson .Paak and Cocoa Sarai for whom she has also co-directed several music videos for. As a dance instructor, she has taught at some of the most prestigious professional dance studios across the country including Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio, Millennium Dance Complex, Joffrey School of Dance, Movement Lifestyle and TMILLY. Her classes focus on teaching students how to find their inner creative voice and apply it to bring choreography to life and tell a story always. Kai is currently working on a new animated film Spellbound that is set to release in 2024 and looks forward to continuing her expansion as a creative artist letting go of any limitations. It is her belief that through hard work and dedication anything is possible!
