Martha Nichols is an artist who believes dance is an experience. Physical, emotional, energetic and spiritual; It should be felt on all planes.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Martha began dancing at the age of three, and studied there until she and her mother moved to Raleigh, NC in 1996. Under the direction of Christy Curtis, she began to train in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, and Modern. At 18, she was Top Ten on So You Think You Can Dance (Season 2), more

Class Descriptions


Combining all that she knows with what she feels, Martha's class has a technical foundation, but welcomes the untrained dancer. Her class is a space where musicality, technique, shapes, groove, texture, and intention all become one.
