Mary Beth Hansohn received her professional training at The Arlington Center for Dance in Arlington, VA, and with Peter Stark, at The Maryland Youth Ballet. She joined The Ohio Ballet as a full member at age 18, and went on to dance in works by Heinz Poll, Donald Byrd, Laura Dean, Ann Marie DeAngelo, Lynne Taylor-Corbett, Stephen Mills, Septime Webre, Salvatore Aiello, Dermot Burke, Christopher Fleming, and Jeffrey Hughes. Class Descriptions


Mary Beth’s class moves along with progression, with a good amount of repetition at the barre. Emphasis on correct alignment, strength-building exercises, and musicality throughout the class.

BDC Barre

Designed specifically for BDC, this class will incorporate ballet technique, resistance training, mat work and cardio to give you a ballet dancer's stream-lined and toned look. Class is completed with stretches to lengthen the body and cool down the muscles after the workout. You'll leave feeling supported, powerful and lean. Socks or bare feet are suitable. Please bring a towel.
