Misa Ogasawara

Misa Ogasawara, originally from Japan, graduated in 1992 from the renowned Musashino Academia Musicae (Musashino College of Music) in Tokyo, Japan.

Prior to coming to New York in 1996, she started a career as a singersongwriter and a recording artist in Japan. Since arriving in New York, she has performed at various venues including Joe’s Pub, Tomi Jazz, Domaine Bar A Vins, the Apollo Theater, City Center, Carnegie Hall and the Lincoln Center. She has also directed, composed and arranged music for theater and dance productions including Once and The Little Mermaid at the West End Theater.
