Phil Colgan

Phil Colgan is a dancer, choreographer, and instructor born and raised in New York. A graduate of NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Study, Phil's performance and production credits span across theater, dance and television.

As a performer, Phil's credits include productions at regional theaters across the country, such as Paper Mill Playhouse (including West Side Story and the world premiere of A Bronx Tale the Musical), Maine State Music Theatre, The Fulton, Ogunquit Playhouse, Gateway Playhouse, and Finger Lakes MTF. Other select credits include iLuminate: Artist of Light, performances with the Omaha Symphony, and The 2017 Tony Awards opening number with Kevin Spacey.

Recent choreography & directorial projects include Catch Me If You Can (Skirball Center), Carrie (NYU), Disney's Newsies (Associate, Pittsburgh CLO) and events like Broadway Bares XXVII: StripU (Associate, “Fine Arts”), The Young Choreographer's Festival, and showcases for Broadway Dance Center. Phil was recently named a finalist for the 2017 Capezio A.C.E. Awards, and presented his piece “Bistro di Scintille” in Long Beach, California.
