Sabra Johnson began her training in gymnastics at age 4 in Kaiserslautern, Germany. At age 16 she attended Dance Impressions in Bountiful, Utah where she trained for two years in Ballet and Jazz. Sabra Johnson began her training in gymnastics at age 4 in Kaiserslautern, Germany. At age 16 she attended Dance Impressions in Bountiful, Utah where she trained for two years in Ballet and Jazz. She spent a year in Las Vegas, Nevada where she danced and taught at The Dance Zone training in Ballet, Jazz, and Contemporary before moving to New York City. Soon after moving she became a contestant on the Fox Reality Show Season 3 So You Think You Can Dance, and became the first female winner. Since the show she has traveled teaching classes all over America and in Canada, Australia, South Africa, Iceland, Cyprus, and Spain.
In 2009 Sabra was a member and performed with Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet Company in New York City. In 2010 she danced in Mexico City with the Tania Perez Salas Compania and most recently she has been asked to join the contemporary ballet company in Darmstadt, Germany.
