Every dancer should have partner dance skills! In this session we will start from the very beginning of Lindy Hop Swing and move through basic patterns, footwork, connection, and styling of this New York City original street dance. No previous experience or partner required. Any footwear will do.
In Spencer's class you will learn Jitterbug and East Coast Swing and develop more involved patterns with advanced footwork. You will also build your dance vocabulary and partnering skills. All Broadway dancers should have swing abilities! This is the pre-requisite level to the Lindy Hop which is the grandfather of all swing dances. No partner required. Some swing experience helpful.
BDC offers more than 350 drop-in classes a week!
