She spent two years in the West End's Bodyguard The Musical. Afterwards, while touring the world from Bejing to Barcelona, her choreography also started to flourish.
The last two years have been a whirlwind of motorbikes, leather, and Meat Loaf, as she’s been involved with Bat Out Of Hell in the UK as Residen.t When last on Broadway Xena was one of a team of three who cast and mounted the USA Tour of Bat Out Of Hell. She has now entirely re-worked the choreography for the new Broadway version opening this summer at the New York City Centre Theatre.
Xena has choreographed television commercials and live events for brands including Adidas, Nike, FootLocker, Clinique, and Renault Clio. Her style is influenced by her musical theatre back ground and her Hip-Hop work at the Barbican Theatre London in The Five and The Prophecy of Prana.
Xena has been trained by Janet Jackson’s Choreographer Anthony Thomas. She was a hip hop judge at the Concept Battlein France, competed in Wake Up Battlein London and Juste De Boutcompetition in Norway. She won the Entrepreneurial Award, chosen and presented to her by Sir Paul McCartney specifically for her work bringing dance to under privileged communities. This was awarded to her for being so intrinsic to the dance scene at a community level in the UK.
Ongoing projects will be taking Xena between the States and the UK, inlcuding choreographing for a new musical film Rumpy Pumpy, as well as two new new musicals Run Baby Run, and Loch Ness. Xena will be choreographing the revival of The Lightening Thief in its UK Tour later this year as well as developing works for the Gatehouse Theatreand Barnes Theatre in London.
