These are suggested tracks to help guide dancers when selecting classes from the annual program.
Track 1- Foundational: 1-2 Classes/week
This track is a great way to build confidence, improve motor function and fitness levels in kids and teens. Dancers can select various classes from our annual program offerings. It is suggested that dancers take at least one ballet or jazz class in addition to the dancer's personal area of interest.
Track 2- Educational: 3-5 Classes, 2 + days/week
This track is for dancers looking to build momentum, strength and endurance. Taking class multiple days per week, with at least two technique classes (Ballet and/or Jazz) helps to strengthen a dancer’s control and muscle memory. This track will allow dancers to see notable improvement in their ability from beginning to end of the season.
Track 3- Intensive: 6+ Classes, 3 or more days/week
Students interested in a more rigorous track are committed to several days per week of intense dance training. These dancers are enrolled in multiple technique classes as well as 2-3 additional “style” classes such as MT Dance, Jumps & Turns, or Hip-Hop to further accelerate their training and give them a well-rounded facility.
BDC offers more than 350 drop-in classes a week!
